Key Performance Improvement Specialist

This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and continuous enhancement across high-performance transmission manufacturing.
- Analyzing performance metrics from machining, assembly, and test operations to identify bottlenecks, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Developing balanced scorecards and interactive tools to provide visibility and support for shop floor and leadership teams
- Enhancing data integration and analytics from manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, machine monitoring platforms) to provide operational insights
This entails championing digital tools to increase visibility, traceability, and proactive decision-making on the shop floor through to Executive leadership. A clear roadmap should be established to identify and select best-in-class approaches for developing a digital twin and integrating Industry 4.0 techniques into business operations.
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesThis specialist will:
- Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement across production teams
- Drive cross-functional improvement projects, including layout optimization, tooling upgrades, and automation initiatives
- Support ramp-up of new product lines and process changes through data modeling, capacity planning, and risk analysis
Required qualifications include a degree-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, preferably with high-precision components, is essential. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) is also required.
