Leadership Position Overview

The Sydney campus requires a strategic leader to oversee academic activity and program delivery in partnership with Education Centre of Australia (ECA).

  • This role will drive the success of the Sydney Campus and expand the agreement with ECA to deliver programs across different study areas.

The Academic Director and Principal will be responsible for managing campus activities, establishing new programs, and promoting excellence in teaching.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Inspire leadership vision, aligning with UniSC's objectives.
  2. Collaborate on performance indicators, optimising resources and increasing student enrolments.
  3. Implement the education partnership strategy with ECA, ensuring diplomatic approach.
  4. Foster collaboration, promote diversity, and ensure inclusive culture.
  5. Monitor partnership performance, identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Lead quality assurance initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and manage stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate qualification, extensive experience in academic leadership, commercial acumen, and international education expertise.

Requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification and extensive experience in strategic planning and resource management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new programs and course opportunities.
  • Experience working with international students in higher education.
  • Proven team management skills, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.
  • Alignment with academic guidelines for a Level D Associate Professor or Level E Professor.
