Maintenance Electrician (Fleet)

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician (Fleet) to provide top-notch electrical repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance services for our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.

The main aim is to keep our fleet operational, ensuring we can consistently deliver excellent experiences to our guests while prioritizing their safety and comfort as they explore the island.

Main Duties
  • Comply with rigorous Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices, meeting legislative requirements and regulations.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs to electrical systems on buses, vehicles, plant equipment, vessels, and various types of vehicles.
  • Detect and replace faulty wiring in ignition, lighting, air-conditioning, and safety control systems.
  • Test and install electrical components such as gauges, lighting, alternators, and starter motors in all fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Install electrically operated accessories in all fleet vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of mechanical workshop operations and associated equipment.
  • Possess a current MR licence or be capable of obtaining one.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the trade.
  • Significant air conditioning experience.
  • Excellent physical fitness level.
