We have an opportunity for an Electrician (EzyStrut Maintenance Supervisor) to join the Maintenance team at Korvest Ltd.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician (EzyStrut Maintenance Supervisor) is responsible for leading a small maintenance team of mechanical fitters within the EzyStrut department, providing electrical support to ensure efficient maintenance and repairs across all operations, including performing electrical tasks for the Galvanising Department when required. This role involves troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems, managing schedules, assigning mechanical tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Electrician (EzyStrut Maintenance Supervisor) plays a key role in maintaining the reliability of electrical systems and mechanical equipment, providing technical guidance, and ensuring all work is completed to industry and safety standards.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a small Maintenance team and contractors, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and work orders for the work area, prioritizing tasks to minimise downtime.
• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, wiring, and fixtures to ensure operational reliability.
• Conduct inspections to identify hazards and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and safety inspections.
• Order and maintain inventory of necessary electrical and other supplies and equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Ensure upkeep of safe work practices in all work areas.

You Will Bring

• Current Electrician Licence and registration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team, ensuring productivity and high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with control and safety circuits.
• Experience with a broad range of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment where work is shared to achieve deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
