Electrician Maintenance for Underground Fixed Plant at Carrapateena

We are seeking qualified Electricians for future roles at our large-scale underground mine operated by skilled professionals. The mine produces copper concentrate and is one of the largest mining projects in South Australia.

Located 472 km northwest of Adelaide, on traditional Kokatha land, with an 8/6 FIFO roster from Adelaide, including day/night shifts.

About the Role

  • We are looking for Electricians to perform maintenance activities within our underground team.
  • Responsibilities include:
  1. Performing planned electrical maintenance on plant equipment
  2. Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting
  3. Maintaining HV/LV systems and motors
  4. Following safety standards and procedures
  5. Providing technical expertise and supporting operational relationships

About You

  • You must be committed to safety and wellbeing
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820)
  • South Australian A class Electrical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation (UEE40420) or UEE42220
  • Experience in underground mining environment preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience with SAP and high-risk licenses
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space competencies desirable
  • Basic PLC knowledge
