Project Lead

The Project Lead is responsible for delivering assigned programs and sub-projects based on business demand.

This role involves leading multiple projects, including high-risk and complex initiatives, and being accountable for their planning, structuring, and execution.

To be successful in this position, you must have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a high-level knowledge of project management delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
  • Manage budget and monitor expenditure against deliverables and realised benefits.
  • Plan and monitor program progress; resolve issues and instigate corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure the delivery of new products and/or services meets quality, timeliness, and budget requirements.
  • Take responsibility for quality assurance and overall program integrity.

Team Leadership:

Manage and develop staff within the program team.Coach and mentor project managers to ensure they are following best practices.Provide regular reports on program status and progress to stakeholders.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program delivery.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies as necessary.

Financial Management:

Manage financials, including forecasting and accruals.Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of program costs and expenses.

Vendor Governance:

Oversee vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all aspects of program delivery meet quality standards.Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
