Job Description

We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and support to our community.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers seeking advice, assistance, or information regarding Council services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and support via phone, email, or in-person interactions
  • Manage service requests effectively and efficiently, complaints, compliments, general enquiries and transactions
  • Make informed decisions in accordance with Council policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve overall team objectives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated communication and strong customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve problems and follow tasks through to completion accurately and on time
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • C-class driver's license
