Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the end-to-end product quality and reliability.

About the Role

  • You will contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid operational performance.
  • Maintaining ISO 9001 Compliance through retention of appropriate records, ensuring compliance to Ultra processes and procedure, and ensuring all Quality Management System documents meet ISO 9001 requirements.
  • You will work closely with project teams to establish quality requirements for project execution, including from external suppliers.
  • Participating in defining system requirements and risk mitigation plans when issues arise.
  • Performing quality engineering review of designs and design documentation for compliance with agreed requirements.
  • You will directly supervise Quality Engineers, Continuous Improvement Specialists, and ISO-9001 Quality Auditors.
  • Gathering and analyzing data related to the quality of products and services.
  • Implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Control Plans, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and overseeing continued compliance to internal processes and procedures across the business.

  • Ability to use sound problem-solving techniques to provide reliable solutions to various problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and professionally across functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Instilling a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities in delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in design, development, and manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a Quality Management role in an engineering environment.
  • Minimum 2 years leading a strategic Quality organization for systems, processes, and products.
  • Knowledge in design, manufacturing, quality, and sustainment engineering as well as product configuration management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems & B.I. tools.
  • Completed ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training by a recognized training organization.
