Project Officer Role Summary

CatholicCare NT is a leading social services organisation based in Darwin, committed to building safe and respectful communities across the Northern Territory.

We are seeking an experienced Project Officer to play a key role in lifting service quality, meeting contractual targets, and building workforce capability across four NT regions.

About The Job
  • The successful candidate will have formal qualifications in Social Work or related fields, and relevant experience in similar roles.
  • Proven expertise in project management, service quality improvement, and staff capability building is essential.
  • High-level organisational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects, meet targets, and maintain compliance, are necessary for this role.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead project management initiatives to improve service delivery and achieve contractual targets.
  2. Provide coaching and support to staff to enhance their capabilities and build a high-performing team.
  3. Monitor program performance and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
Key Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal cultures and contexts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
