Data Governance Lead

Stryker, a leading medical technology company, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its team as a Lead Analyst - Enterprise Data Quality. This critical role plays a key part in maintaining high data standards and enabling the delivery of the company's Data and Analytics strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across Customer, Supplier, and Employee Domains and Transactional Business Data.
- Monitor and correct master data inconsistencies within the two JDE instances across three regions, utilizing data knowledge to build and run reports to monitor data integrity and provide reporting where standard reports cannot meet business needs.
- Provide advanced thought processes on the flow of information and its tie-back to divisional software applications.
- Analyze, research, and resolve complex data matching issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.
- Establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers, and colleagues to collect necessary information for tasks.
- Collaborate with divisional functional teams, both locally and globally, to ensure project success and meet short and long-term goals and needs.
- Support stakeholder SLAs and work to provide KPIs, ensuring dashboards are up-to-date and reflective of work completed.
- Implement a data quality methodology, assess data quality with criticality in mind, and drive strong data quality metrics.
- Create and maintain tools to demonstrate data quality meeting requirements, develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to monitor data quality, governance, and compliance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Oversee data quality initiatives, including data profiling for criticality, cleansing, and enrichment, to maintain high-quality data across all systems and databases.
- Embed data certification and a robust issue resolution process, prioritizing on business criticality.
- Work with data stewards to ensure correction of data and ensure a robust approval process for new Customer and Employee records.
- Monitor Transportation Management Master Data setup and ensure completeness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and ensure data is leveraged effectively to support decision-making and business processes.
- Understanding of the medical equipment industry, hospital systems, and procedures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and change management skills.
- Business process improvement capability and ability to contribute to and implement systematic change.
- Strong analytical aptitude with proven ability to analyze/interpret data and provide insight to other departments.
- Strong knowledge of data regulations and compliance requirements.
