Job Title: Leadership Role for Early Years

The Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built facility designed to cater for 170 young learners.

A leadership opportunity has emerged to lead the dynamic Early Learning Centre as Director. This significant early years leadership role oversees pastoral care, administration, and curriculum development to drive educational outcomes and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic oversight and coordination of operations to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, and College standards;
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff;
  • Oversee staffing arrangements, including recruitment, supervision, absence cover, and professional support;
  • Maintain rigorous administrative systems that comply with funding, licensing, and regulatory requirements;
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs tailored to the developmental needs of each child;
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with College leadership, staff, families, and external professionals.

This role requires a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning framework, demonstrated leadership ability, and proven financial acumen. Excellent interpersonal skills, complemented by warmth, integrity, empathy, grace, courage, and energy to engage with and inspire the community, are key to success in this role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Sound financial management skills.
