Early Years Education Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality pedagogy, assessment, and curriculum in preschool settings.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to develop strategic approaches that enhance continuous improvement and support the learning and development of 3-5-year-old children.

The successful applicant will work closely with educators, leaders, and the early years community to implement a connected approach to early years curriculum aligned to the Early Years Learning framework.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to provide statewide leadership and expertise, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and supported in their efforts to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

To be successful in this position, applicants must be currently registered or able to be registered to teach in South Australia, and meet the department's minimum employment requirements before taking up an appointment.

The selected candidate will be required to undergo a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, and undertake the RRHAN -EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which will be required to be updated every three years.
