Primary school teachers play a vital role in the early years education of students. We invite applications for Specialist Reception to Year 2 teachers.

We are looking for someone who has a sound knowledge of early years schooling and appropriate pedagogy. Demonstrated experience in teaching Reception – Year 2 classes would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  1. Play a vital role in the early/primary years education of students.
  2. Be part of a dynamic team that supports and encourages each other.
  3. Contribute to innovative pedagogical practice and support student growth and development.

Teachers are expected to support the Christian ethos of the college and contribute to the Christian life of the college.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in junior school years teaching.
  • Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration.
  • A commitment to Christian education.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the necessary cultural sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety.
