Job Opportunity

As a finance professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team in various aspects of project administration, office administration, and asset management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain administrative files, including contracts, fee information, and related correspondence.
  • Issue job numbers for new projects and maintain records on our system.
  • Produce financial reports and data as requested.
  • Assist with financial summaries and prepare ad-hoc reports.
  • Petty cash reconciliation, including international petty cash.
  • Support day-to-day processes and assist with general office administration.
  • Complete paperwork for asset acquisitions and assist with review of assets during year-end processes.
  • Maintain employee registers and assist with the induction process.
  • Timesheet data entry, follow-up with employees, leave entitlements reconciliation, and collection of timesheets.
  • Assist with payroll and ensure accurate recording of reimbursable amounts.
  • Debtor review, follow-up, and collection; daily banking summary and allocation to invoices.
  • Maintain client AR information and ensure correct coding and charging.
  • Prepare statements monthly and archive all AR filing as required.
  • Process creditor invoices, set up new suppliers, and checks on ABN and banking details.
  • Prepare fortnightly invoices and EFT runs, and conduct creditor reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of reimbursable amounts and clear suspense and prepayments accounts.
  • Assist with sub-consultant accruals, reconciliations, and queries.
  • Perform front-of-house relief and support, liaise with other departments, and create/modifying documents using Microsoft Office.

**Requirements:**

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Professional presentation and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.
  • Ability to solve complex issues and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

**Experience:** 1-2 years in a similar role.
