Senior Lawyer Job Description

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team in a leadership role. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the development of legal professionals.

The position involves managing a broad range of files, including complex Family Law matters, Civil Litigation files, and Residential and Commercial Property transactions. You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior solicitors, guiding them in both legal practice and professional growth.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Lawyer to make a lasting impact and contribute to shaping the next generation of legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad range of files, including complex Family Law matters, Civil Litigation files, and Residential and Commercial Property transactions
  • Mentor and guide junior lawyers in both legal practice and professional growth
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years PAE across Family, Litigation or Property Law
  • Strong ability to manage files independently and provide strategic advice
  • Passion for mentoring, developing and supporting junior lawyers
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Admission to practice in QLD and a current practising certificate
