Our client is a boutique, multi-practice law firm based in Southport, experiencing strong and steady growth. About the Position:
Our client is offering a standout opportunity for a Senior Lawyer with 10+ years PAE to step into a leadership role and actively contribute to the development of junior solicitors. Working directly alongside the Managing Partner, you'll be involved in strategic decision-making, client relationship management, and staff development.
You'll lead by example—both in your legal work and your mentorship—helping guide early-career lawyers as they progress through the profession. This role will suit a lawyer who wants to give back to the industry, share their knowledge, and play a genuine role in shaping a high-performing legal team.
You will handle a variety of legal matters including:
- Complex family law cases including parenting arrangements and property settlements
- General civil litigation, commercial disputes, and estate matters
- Residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, and property settlements
Key Requirements:
- At least 10 years PAE in Family, Litigation or Property Law
- Confidence managing files independently from start to finish
- Strong leadership mindset and genuine interest in mentoring juniors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current practising certificate in Queensland
- Be a key leader within a supportive and growing boutique firm
- Work directly with a respected Managing Partner who values collaboration
