Operations Manager

Job Description

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that oversees the day-to-day management of commercial assets in North Sydney. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for client relationship building, strategic planning, lifecycle management of plant & equipment, project coordination, capital works, and focusing on the sustainability & economic performance of the assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert in all systems and processes that support our Risk Management policies, working to enhance the safety of our buildings for tenants, visitors, and contractors.
  • Contractor oversight
  • Effective communication with tenants to gain insights, key drivers, and respond to operational issues promptly.
  • Verification of services engaged are within budgeted costs.
  • Regular inspections to identify changes or new risk scenarios and ensure agreed risk management plan reflects the current asset state.
  • Compliance with WHS legislation and Building Code of Australia.
  • Implementation of client sustainability requirements.
  • Management of annual budgets and contribution to business planning process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Facilities/Operations Manager role with commercial property assets.
  • Ability to maximize building performance in terms of sustainability, risk management, and client reporting.
  • Positive and tenacious approach with customer service as key priority.
  • Ability to be proactive and identify potential risks through compliance with WH&S.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to expand skills as necessary.
