Job Title:

Asset Maintenance Specialist

Your Role:

This is a technical position where you'll focus on asset maintenance and support activities within an automated warehouse environment.

You will ensure the optimal performance of technical assets, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and warehouse control systems.

Key tasks involve planning and executing modifications, corrective maintenance, and performance enhancements of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and develop new methods to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Support strategic plans to enhance service delivery and contribute to distribution centre goals.
  • Lead training sessions to enhance the technical skills of the service team.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment and encourage open communication and teamwork.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency.
  • Mentor junior technicians and support their professional growth.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OH&S procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement system housekeeping.
  • Support maintenance planning and analyse parts usage and asset performance.
About You:

This role is suitable for someone who values collaboration, strives to add value, and has a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred qualifications include a degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.

Proficient in CMMS/WMS/WCS and industry-related software is also preferred.
