Job Opportunity: Red Hill Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team. As a Part-Time Permanent Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that donated goods are recycled correctly and efficiently, and that every customer leaves with a good experience.

Your key responsibilities will include loading/unloading loose goods, performing general labor tasks, distributing goods to stores, and assisting retail staff where required.

You will also be expected to present a professional work environment, maintain safe working hours safety methods and driving practices, complete delivery paperwork, and report incidents, near misses, and vehicle maintenance issues.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Driver's license, reliability, and a can-do attitude. Previous experience in multi-drop, courier, or furniture removal is not essential, but highly regarded.

What is essential is your ability to provide exceptional customer service, load and unload goods safely, and align to our organization's Mission and Values.

  • Minimum 1 year's driving experience operating a medium rigid vehicle;
  • Current Australian driver's license (Medium Rigid license preferred but not essential);
  • Confident driving skills and a proven safety record;
  • Reasonable written and oral communication skills;
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills;
