Import Sea Freight Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Import Sea Freight Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong focus on customer service and a proven track record in the import sea freight industry.

About the Role

Lodging sea cargo reports with customs authorities, monitoring vessel arrival dates and transshipment details, liaising with shipping companies to obtain release of cargo, and monitoring customs status in ICS to ensure release of shipment are key responsibilities of this position.

Additionally, you will be responsible for booking transport, paying customs duties, checking creditor invoices, and maintaining client rates.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have extensive import sea freight experience, a stable local international freight career history, and Cargowise experience preferably. You should also want to work within a social, supportive environment.
