We are seeking a Family Relationship Counsellor to provide counselling and support to children, individuals, couples, and families experiencing relationship difficulties or separation.
">This role is part of our child-focused and trauma-informed framework, assisting clients in navigating challenges, strengthening family connections, and prioritising the best interests of the child.
">Key Responsibilities:">- ">
- Provide strength-based, child-focused counselling to individuals, children, and families">
- Work collaboratively with the Program Manager to ensure high-quality service delivery">
- Facilitate group sessions and provide referrals as needed">
- Maintain accurate client records using the Penelope database">
- Build strong relationships with internal and external service providers">
Essential Qualifications and Skills:

- Tertiary qualifications in Counselling or Social Work/Psychology with substantial counselling experience">
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite and other technology to fulfill requirements of the role">
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team">
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check">
- Valid Driver's Licence">
- Ability to do some intra-state travel when required">
