Job Summary

This occupational therapy position involves working with diverse caseloads, utilizing your expertise to provide evidence-based assessments, interventions, and reports that cater to the unique needs of our clients. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored plans, and delivering targeted therapies that promote skill-building, daily routines, and sensory regulation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive functional capacity, ADL, sensory, and environmental assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with participants and families to set SMART goals and develop personalized plans.
  • Prepare detailed clinical and risk assessments, ensuring they are audit-ready and culturally sensitive.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy services for skill-building, daily routines, sensory regulation, and carer coaching.
  • Prescribe, trial, and provide training for Assistive Technology (AT) solutions.
  • Create and oversee Home Modification scopes that cater to individual client needs.
  • Produce clear, concise clinical notes and reports that meet our Clinical Governance Framework and safeguarding processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (OTBA) with professional indemnity insurance.
  • 1–2 years' experience in community, disability, paediatric, or adult practice.
  • Clinical reasoning skills, excellent written communication, and confidence in AT prescription.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding, and documentation requirements.
