Behavioural Therapy Support Specialist

We are seeking a Behavioural Therapy Support Specialist to work with our young son who was diagnosed with Autism. He is currently undergoing Applied Behaviour Therapy (ABA) as part of his Intensive Early Childhood Intervention.
The role involves supporting our son in reaching his milestones and building skills for school readiness. You will receive hands-on training in behaviour therapy and close supervision from an experienced Therapy Supervisor.
As a Behavioural Therapy Support Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the ABA program through therapy sessions, which will take place at home and childcare centres located in the Prospect area.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and enjoy interacting with them. You will also need to hold a Working with Children check and an Australian Driver's License.
This position would suit second or third-year Psychology/ OT students or individuals who have previously worked with children.
The successful applicant will commit to at least two sessions per week on an ongoing basis.
