About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide exceptional in-home care services to our valued clients. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of elderly individuals by supporting their independence and dignity.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing consumer-directed care services to clients as prescribed in their care plans
  • Assisting clients with mobility and transfers, as well as other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to help maintain an independent lifestyle
  • Supporting clients with general domestic duties
  • Actively participating in care plan development to ensure clients' ever-changing needs are met
  • Recognizing and responding to changes in a client's condition, documenting and communicating this information as required
Requirements:
  • A minimum Certificate III qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services
  • Preferably 12 months of experience working in the Home Care sector, particularly with Home Care Packages and CHSP funded care services
  • A genuine empathy for elderly clients and a passion for working within the community service industry
  • An understanding of specialized service delivery within diverse groups
