Climate Risk Project Manager

A seasoned project manager is sought to spearhead initiatives that identify, manage and disclose climate-related risks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in carbon accounting, climate risk assessments and transition plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Contribute directly to the development of emissions inventories, climate risk assessments and transition plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate task allocation and monitor progress across project team members and external contributors.
  • Draft and review written deliverables such as reports, dashboards and presentation materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental science or business.
  • Previous experience in project management, with a solid understanding of carbon accounting and climate-related risks.
  • Familiarity with AASB S2, TCFD, CSRD or similar climate risk disclosure frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, coordinate teams and meet deadlines.
