The Climate Risk Reporting role is a critical part of our organisation's strategy to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our customers.
This role will be responsible for driving climate risk reviews, ensuring timely assessments are undertaken of the risks and controls across the bank relating to climate risks and reporting, and aligning audit work to the changing internal and external landscape, including regulatory obligations.
You will have the opportunity to develop positive and constructive relationships with key individuals in the climate risks areas, and contribute to the development of the annual IA plan and the allocation of resources based on risk profile of business areas.
This role requires a strong understanding of key risk management frameworks and principles, including operational risk and compliance and delivery risk, as well as significant banking & finance industry knowledge.
As a successful candidate, you will have extensive experience in and understanding of key risk management frameworks and principles, including operational risk and compliance and delivery risk, as well as significant banking & finance industry knowledge.
You will also have experience in leading concurrent Technology medium sized audit / projects / risk teams working on medium to high complexity and profile reviews, substantial experience auditing across complex Technology environments, and experience including risk and control analysis of complex business areas and processes, using this to design and deliver effective assurance projects.
In addition, you will have strong negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills, strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience including Technology senior management, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
