Construction Permit Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Permits Officer to join our team on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.
About the Opportunity:The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth transition from concept to construction completion by coordinating and issuing all permits.
Key Responsibilities:- Audit the Permit to Work system at regular intervals to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate and coordinate Project Construction PTW requirements by liaising with Supervisors/Subcontractors and access and enable work flow.
- Audit regularly and ensure information and procedures are adequate for isolations.
- Be actively involved in developing third-party interface agreements to safely execute workloads carried out by external subcontractors.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with task scheduling.
- 5+ years of experience in Permit to Work in Construction and/or heavy industry and high-risk workplaces.
- Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety.
- Trade qualification in a related industry preferred.
- Experience in construction on major projects.
- Experience in participating in high-level investigations involving multiple internal and external parties.
- Knowledge of isolation procedures and compliance codes.
- Contribute to building a landmark infrastructure project that will shape Melbourne's future public transport network.
