About BMD Constructions
BMD Constructions is a leading integrated engineering, construction and urban development business in Australia. As the largest privately owned civil contractor in the country, BMD Constructions is at the forefront of excellence and its footprint expands globally to the Philippines and United Kingdom. With a commitment to long-term relationships and collaborative contracting, BMD Constructions sets itself apart through a team of over 2000 skilled professionals, specialising in transformative infrastructure across diverse sectors.
About the project
The Devonport East Berth E3 Redevelopment is a major construction project in Tasmania. The project aims to accommodate two new vessels from Finland, replacing the iconic red and white ships known as the Spirit of Tasmania I&II. As part of this initiative, TT Line, a Tasmanian state-owned corporation, has appointed BMD Constructions as the Principal Contractor responsible for overseeing and executing civil, marine, and building works. The upgraded site and facilities will house a new state-of-the-art terminal, resulting in enhanced vessel operation efficiency and an unparalleled customer experience.
Benefits
We offer a rewarding long-term career, opportunities to develop, and a culture that values your contribution. BMD Constructions recognises that we are strengthened by diversity and we embrace differences as an equal opportunity employer, providing an inclusive workplace that rewards excellence and promotes a healthy work-life balance. We offer unique benefits, including specialised learning and development programs, a good health and wellbeing program, paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers, and flexible work, novated leasing, and discounts with hundreds of retailers.
