Job Overview:

The Post Production Support Specialist role is a critical position in the implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the financial industry working for a consultancy or software vendor.

About this Job

This position involves supporting customers post-go-live of the Charles River Investment Management Solution implementation. Key responsibilities include defining new client requirements, configuring and tuning the application, training users, testing workflows, and resolving issues. The Specialist will liaise with Charles River Technical Support and Product resources to troubleshoot application issues and determine the optimal configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Acumen: Having strong industry knowledge across multiple asset classes and navigating the CRD/Alpha ecosystem while establishing relationships with internal supporting teams.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyzing and evaluating requirements issues, providing product expertise and guidance during the post-go-live journey.
  • Customer Education: Educating customers on CRIMS methodologies and functionalities, advising on best practices for implementation and operation.
  • Product Development: Evaluating customer requirements for potential enhancements, documenting, and communicating product improvements.
  • Client Issues: Maintaining a client issues list and providing status reports.
  • User Training: Training users on existing workflows.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gathering requirements for new asset classes, security types, or business lines.
