Regional Collaboration Specialist

The Regional Collaboration team plays a vital role in driving growth and sustainable development in Queensland. As a key player, you will support the Director in implementing and delivering a governance model that enhances regional collaboration across government.

This involves understanding regional challenges, promoting collaboration between agencies, and building regional leadership. You will work closely with representatives from various Queensland agencies and levels of governance to ensure effective planning and governance of identified regional priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide operational human resource and team management support to the Director
  2. Offer leadership, guidance, and advice on stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and partnership building approaches
  3. Deliver high-quality reports and project plans informed by research and analysis
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop systems and processes for implementing the Regional Collaborative Governance Model
  5. Maintain knowledge and encourage continued learning throughout the Regional Collaborative Governance Model

Requirements:

  • Experience or expertise in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, project management, and working within complex collaborative environments
  • Ability to form strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Travel may be required, involving travel outside normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation
