Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Delivery: Assist in delivering meals to residents, families, and staff across the residence, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Catering Support: Collaborate with other catering staff to prepare basic food items and assist with food preparation as required.
  • Function Planning and Delivery: Support the planning and delivery of functions and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Food Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to the food safety program schedule and maintain a safe food handling environment, adhering to Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, ensuring their needs and requirements are met.
About You
  • Warm and Compassionate: Possess a warm and compassionate approach to working with residents, families, and staff.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills to understand client needs and requirements.
  • Availability: Be available to work a 7-day roster, including weekends and flexible hours.
  • Industry Training: Hold a Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate and have previous experience working in an aged care or catering team.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety: Possess knowledge of food safety and HACCP compliance.
