Workshop Operations Manager

We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee the daily operations of our motorhome fleet workshop. This key role will play a pivotal part in ensuring our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Workshop Supervisor or similar leadership position in the automotive or rental industry, with strong technical knowledge of motorhomes or RVs, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Proven ability to supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management to achieve excellent results.
  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members, suppliers, and customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Manage and supervise a team of technicians, providing coaching and mentoring to improve performance.
  • Conduct regular motorhome fleet inspections and maintenance checks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for parts sourcing, negotiating competitive prices and lead times.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure consistent high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Workshop Supervisor or similar leadership role in automotive or rental industry.
