
Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking a Facilities & Client Services Officer to join our Corporate Services team, responsible for the efficient daily operations of our mailroom.
This includes sorting incoming mail, distribution, preparing outgoing mail for dispatch, managing incoming and outgoing couriers.
Other tasks include coordinating deliveries, checking and distributing newspapers, housekeeping of online documentation, providing cover for the Helpdesk Co-ordinator, setting up events and meeting rooms, and performing minor functions and facilities requests.
This also involves driving services for our private mini-bus lunch run to Chatswood.
About YouYou will be a great communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, a team player with a passion for helping others.
Demonstrated experience in customer service is essential, as is a current and valid NSW Driver Licence.
You should have well-developed organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Able to accurately record requests and follow up ensuring tasks are completed to satisfaction, you should also have competency in computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Experience with a helpdesk / service request system is desirable, as is a general comfortability with / interest in computers and technology.
You should be passionate and interested in learning about new technology, particularly Meeting room AV systems.
Able to work rostered shift work within the hours of 08:00 and 17:30, Monday to Friday, this role also requires manual handling for general maintenance and setting up events.
