We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Manager to join our growing organisation. As a Senior Claims Manager, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
You will collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy. Your responsibilities will include assisting the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
Additionally, you will assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments. You will also respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
As a senior team member, you will set the standard in claims management while guiding and supporting others around you through mentoring and coaching colleagues and leading by example to create a culture of collaboration.
