Senior Claims Professional

We are seeking an experienced claims professional to join our team. This role involves managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
About the Role- This is a challenging opportunity for a driven individual who can proactively manage claims, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide customer-centric support.
- The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme and currently reside in New Zealand.
- Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
- Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
