Industrial Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plastic Extrusion Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plastic extrusion lines, as well as performing preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic extrusion lines, ensuring optimal production and product quality.
- Reprogram machines and robots with experience in Fanuc Robots being a significant advantage.
- Visually inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot faulty equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular maintenance on all plant equipment, including installing new or repaired parts to maintain high performance standards.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints (electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical) to perform required maintenance and service.
- Collaborate effectively with production and senior leadership to resolve problems efficiently.
- Work as part of a cohesive team to achieve consistent output goals and ensure a safe working environment.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- A motivated and proactive team player with a passion for learning and development.
- Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or similar skilled trades, along with two or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial controls is highly desirable.
- A strong educational foundation with excellent computer and math skills.
- A sound decision-maker and problem-solver who consistently strives for excellence.
- A deep understanding of the importance of workplace safety and its implementation.
