About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to lead the development of immediacy channels at Coles. As a key member of our Digital function, you will be responsible for creating a product strategy and roadmap that delivers high-quality customer experiences and improves business metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing development of immediacy channels at Coles
  • Create a product strategy and roadmap that delivers high-quality customer experiences and improves business metrics
  • Accountable for the results (customer/business outcome) of your squads
  • Skilled in translating business process and customer insights into product concepts and solutions
  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and responsible for end-to-end execution of initiatives from discovery to delivery
  • Gather, manage, and prioritize product requirements across multiple squads and ensure all are heading towards an overarching goal
  • Create and own your P&L and commercial strategy
  • Expertise with top-level inputs & metrics in order to accurately identify problems
  • Highly collaborative and have exceptional people management and communication skills
  • Previous experience managing one or more product managers and their respective squads
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience as a Product Manager or similar or in strategy/consulting or Digital retail
  • A consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business
  • Experience developing & mentoring Product Managers and contributing to the Product Chapter
  • Experience supporting digital channels in large, complex organisations; experience working in a digital-first organisation with a strong customer-centric focus
  • Experienced in communicating and rationalising product design decisions
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and comfortable with change
  • Experience in creating and implementing commercial strategy
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with engineering, design, and marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the product lifecycle, experience building and shipping consumer product experiences
  • Understanding of the broader digital ecosystem including software development lifecycle, development methodologies (including agile), user experience design, usability, and accessibility, online content strategy, etc
