Regulatory Leadership Position

The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulation Manager to join their team. As a key member of the regulatory authority, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to regulatory officers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to regulatory officers within the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority;
- Be responsible for statutory decision making as it applies to legislation, standards, policies and guidelines in the regulation of early childhood education and care services;
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a regulator or decision maker in accordance with the principles of good administrative decision making;
- Great time management and strong communication skills;
- Ability to identify risk and emerging issues and provide advice and solutions;
- Previous experience managing a team and complex matters;
