Estimating Role

This is a full-time permanent estimating position located in Sunshine West, VIC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generating accurate estimates and quotes
  • Analysing project requirements and specifications
  • Communicating with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
  • Coordinating and scheduling projects to meet deadlines
  • Collaborating with finance, business development, and drafting teams to ensure successful project delivery

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate estimates, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and working collaboratively with the finance and drafting teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

About You:
  • 5+ years of experience in an estimating role, preferably in construction, particularly on structural steel projects up to $300k in value
  • Proficiency in E1 (Estimate One) software
  • Ability to create compelling tenders and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to think creatively and consider design challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant estimating software (Bluebeam preferred)
