Job Description

The role of Senior Asset Manager entails leading and coordinating the delivery of efficient asset management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the implementation of the Capital Works Program, Asset Management Plan, Asset Management Policy, and Strategies.
  • Align service level agreements with business needs and ensure long-term asset lifecycle considerations.
  • Provide technical support to the Depot staff and oversee future planned works.
  • Coordinate stakeholder input to ensure new assets meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure plans are balanced, resource-aligned, and risks are appropriately managed.
  • Maintain and enhance Council's asset management systems, databases, and GIS integration.
  • Update asset information post-renewal, replacement, and maintenance activities.
  • Facilitate asset condition inspections, revaluations, and useful life forecasts to support financial reporting.
  • Report on asset condition and financial forecasts to Executive Management.
