Speech Pathologist Role

  • Diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients.
  • Develop treatment plans and maintain detailed records of progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Provide individual or group therapy to patients.
  • Train family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on ways to support patients' communication development.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology or related fields.
  • Current license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds.
