Job Summary:
Aged Care Nursing ProfessionalWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Nursing Professional to provide exceptional care to our residents. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
This role requires a registered nurse with experience in aged care, who can deliver high-quality clinical care while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of Australian standards for aged care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Resident Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify care needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Care Delivery: Provide safe and competent clinical nursing care to residents, adhering to all relevant standards and guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care delivery, including medication administration and ordering procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification, current registration with AHPRA as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in aged care, preferably in a similar role.
- Clinical Skills: Strong clinical and documentation skills, with the ability to administer medications and maintain accurate ordering, storage, and documentation procedures.
