About the Role:
As a compassionate and skilled Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs during admissions and ongoing assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation reflecting care delivery.
- Complete ACFI assessments and documentation as required for shifts and contribute to income maximization.
- Assist in implementing, contributing to, and evaluating resident care plans under supervisor direction.
- Administer medications to residents, ensuring correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures align with organisational policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent completion.
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience, preferably in aged care.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- Knowledge of Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Knowledge of government standards for aged care delivery.
- Understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
- Strong clinical and documentation skills.
- Understanding of aged care accreditation process.
