Site Transformation Leader

The Role
  • Lead a team on-site, managing contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Take charge of CAPEX and OPEX budgets, focusing on procurement, tendering, and contractor performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, local government, and community groups.
  • Maintain safety standards and risk management practices throughout site activities.
About You

Candidates should possess a strong background in environmental remediation, civil construction, or mine and ash/tailings dam closure and rehabilitation projects.

You will bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in complex, high-risk, regulated environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Enviro or Civil), Project Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven commercial acumen, including budget management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly when dealing with regulators, government, and local communities.
