Therapeutic Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Nutrition Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions for individuals with complex needs.

  • Nutrition and Dietary Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of nutrition and dietary requirements for clients with various disabilities and impairments.
  • Dietary Support: Provide tailored dietary support for individuals with difficulty swallowing and chewing, bowel and intestinal issues, and other complex co-morbidities.
  • Home Enteral Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and goals to address deficits in home enteral nutrition and nutritional therapy.
  • Communication and Liaison: Clearly communicate assessed needs to clients, families, specialist services, and other stakeholders within agreed time frames.

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, experience as a Dietitian in a multidisciplinary setting, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Member of Dietitian Association of Australia (DAA), with Provisional or Full APD status.
  • Experience in the profession and evidence of involvement in clinical supervision and professional development.
