Wellbeing Specialist - Nutrition and Dietetics

At our organisation, we offer a dynamic and inclusive environment where staff are inspired through meaningful work and supported by colleagues and management.

As a Wellbeing Specialist - Nutrition and Dietetics, you will work across both Allied Health teams - The Aging Well Service and the Child Health and Development (CHAD) teams.

Within these teams, you will promote wellbeing in individuals and the community through provision of professional, targeted one-on-one and group services to eligible clients, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. You will also utilise health promotion and prevention strategies within a multi-disciplinary team environment to ensure high standards of healthcare are being provided to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality, culturally appropriate dietetic services to individuals and groups of clients
  • Working closely with other staff and programs across the organisation and external agencies to ensure multi-disciplinary care and appropriate referrals are available to clients
  • Maintaining accurate and regular data collection related to funding and billing requirements

Essential Qualifications, Attributes and Skills:

  • Bachelor or Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Registered with the Dietitians Association of Australia as Accredited Practising Dietitian
  • At least 2 years' experience (full time or equivalent) as an Accredited Practising Dietitian, preferably within the community health sector
