Senior Clinical Dietitian Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality Nutrition and Dietetics services to allocated clinical areas.

The position involves supervising junior staff and acting as an advocate for nutrition services. If you are passionate about promoting healthy eating habits and want to make a positive impact on patient outcomes, this role may be ideal for you.

  • Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify opportunities for improving nutrition services and lead quality improvement activities.
  • Provide education and consultancy services to patients, staff, and the community, promoting healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and report on nutrition services to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Act as an advocate for nutrition services, promoting the importance of good nutrition in preventing and managing chronic diseases.
Requirements:
  • Master's or postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Dietitian.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality nutrition services and leading quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, prioritize workloads, and exercise independent professional judgment.
