Maintaining our rental fleet to a consistently high standard is crucial to our operations. If you're confident in your ability to diagnose, service and repair mechanical systems and are passionate about delivering quality workmanship in a safety-focused environment, this could be the role for you.

Your Role

As a trade qualified mechanic, you'll conduct inspections, servicing and repairs of mechanical rental equipment, winches and lifting equipment. This includes compressors, hydraulic power units and controls, air and hydraulic systems and subsea ROV tooling. You'll also perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing, configure and integrate equipment into packaged solutions and troubleshoot faults.

  • Conduct inspection, service and repairs of mechanical rental equipment, winches and lifting equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.

  • Troubleshoot faults and support equipment operators queries.

You'll ensure all work complies with safety, quality and certification requirements, maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and equipment condition, assist with equipment mobilisation and demobilisation, complete service reports and requisitions, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be trade qualified as a Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Fitter, have a strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment. You'll also need excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as fork lift and dogging tickets (desirable).
