Position Overview:

In response to the continuous expansion of our team and the increasing demands of our robust project pipeline in civil infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior or Principal Drainage Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure division. This position is based in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of drainage designs for a variety of projects, ranging from minor intersection enhancements to large-scale billion-dollar initiatives.
  • Offer technical design proficiency for drainage and water quality systems, encompassing piped networks and significant transverse drainage structures.
  • Collaborate and validate designs with project teams operating across multiple locations, including our international design centers.
  • Adopt a robust digital work environment and delivery culture.
  • Work in conjunction with other design disciplines to ensure the overall design's integrity.

Qualifications & Experience:

Your passion for enhancing quality of life is paramount. You take pride in your contributions to transforming the environment around you and recognize the value of teamwork. You are a technically adept civil or environmental engineer with substantial experience in drainage design for civil infrastructure projects. You will possess:

  • Experience across various stages of the project lifecycle, from tendering and conceptual design to construction.
  • Proven self-management skills; the ability to operate independently and take responsibility for results.
  • Experience with projects involving Main Roads WA / PTA or similar interstate authorities such as TfNSW, TMR, and VicRoads.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with drainage software, including 12D and DRAINS.
  • A collaborative spirit to thrive in a high-performing team environment.
  • Hydrology and hydraulic modeling experience using Tuflow is highly valued.
