Role Overview:

We're seeking a Senior or Principal Drainage Engineer to join our WA Civil Infrastructure team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of drainage designs on various projects, from small intersection upgrades to complex billion-dollar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical design expertise for drainage and water quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures
  • Coordinate and verify designs with project teams working across multiple offices, including our international design hubs
  • Embracing a strong digital work environment and delivery culture
  • Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design

Requirements:

  • Experience in several facets of the project lifecycle from tendering and concept design through to construction
  • Demonstrated self-management; the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
  • Experience working on projects with Main Roads WA / PTA or similar interstate authorities like TfNSW, TMR, and VicRoads
  • Proven skills with drainage software such as 12D and DRAINS
  • The desire to work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment
  • Hydrology and hydraulic modelling experience using Tuflow will be highly regarded
